VCA821: Do VCA821 on the EVM meet RoHS?

Hi Team,

Is there any difference between the VCA821 on the EVM and the VCA821 on the official website? Do they all meet RoHS? Thanks.

    Hi Charlie,

    The EVMs available for the VCA821 are unpopulated boards so they do not come with the VCA821 chip. As for the EVMs, there are two board options depending on the VCA821 package being used so that is a consideration when looking into the EVMs this device offers. The two EVMs themselves do not meet RoHS compliance. Further information can be found in the EVM's User's Guide under "EVALUATION BOARD/KIT IMPORTANT NOTICE."
