Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA821,
Team,
INA188 and INA821 seem to be quite close in term of specification:
https://www.ti.com/product-folders/compare?familyId=500&parts=INA188,INA821,INA828&lang=en&source=prodfolder
But their respective VSON-8 package have different dimension INA188 SON-8 (DRJ) 4x4mm vs INA821 SON-8 (DRG) 3x3mm.
-Can the PCB be adapted to enable to have both SON-8 footprint fit on top of each other to enable dual sourcing?
-Any existing examples available?
I have seen for example the below for SOIC-8 to SON-8 PCB adaptation:
SOIC-8 und SON-8 (for example some CAN-Transceiver TCAN1xxx and some OPAMPs):
Second-sourcing options for small-package amplifiers – SLYT744
Simplifying Signal Chain Design for High Performance in Small Systems – SLYY198
Thanks in advance,
A.
