TLV7034-Q1: Tolerance of power-on-reset (POR) voltage threshold

Part Number: TLV7034-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV7034

Hello,

My customer needs to know the min/max voltages and related hysteresis for the power-on-reset threshold voltage (min/max rising, min/max falling). The datasheet only indicates "min VCC" without any additional specs provided.

Thanks,
Matthew Guibord

  • Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out. The short answer is that TLV7034 was spec'd very conservatively back then and from what we have seen in the char data, we actually saw that the part only needed to rise above ~0.9V for it to operate normally. Now we can only warranty the behavior above min VCC but just FYI, we've seen it work above ~0.9V. If you would like, I can reach out to you offline so we can have a call and discuss this further.
