Hi, 

I have requirement of HD-SDI video buffer. The Serial Data rate of Video Chip is 1.485GHz and output swing is 900mVpp. Please suggest video buffer for this?

    Hello,

    I can look into the TI HSAMPs product which is best suited to your application.  Have you considered using one of TI's SDI products?  The interface product group specializes in SDI with several reference designs and semiconductors.  For example, would the LMH0307 be an appropriate part for your application?

    I see you list the OPA859 in your original post; the OPA859 is a capable & versatile product but does not have any application-specific features for implementing an HD-SDI video system.

    Additionally, your serial date rate corresponds to 1.485 Gbps, correct?  I believe you are intending to specify the data rate in bits per second, not cycles per second.  

    Please let me know what your design constraints and needs are for the system, in addition to the data rate & output swing provided.  If you are basing your design on a common standard, implementation, or reference design, I would appreciate that information as well.
