Hi Adam,
LM139AJ/PB is the commercial version of the LM139 from National Semiconductor. The PB indicates that the lead finish is SnPb solder dip
LM139AJ is the commercial grade of the TI version of the part.
LM139AJB is LM139A-MIL from TI. B indicates military grade.
Note that any military grade device will usually have a PB finish. Double-check the finish on the “B” part. So the AJ is NOT a “B” version of the AJB…
Hi,
LM139AJ and LM139AJB are found in TI LM139A-MIL datasheet.
LM139AJ/883 is found in TI LM139AQML datasheet.
LM139AJ/PB is found in TI LM139-N datasheet.
They are all –55/125C temp grade. However, you are saying only LM139AJ and LM139/PB are commercial grade. Are LM139AJ/883 and LM139AJB the same part? It’s confusing since they share the same datasheet MIL datasheet which led me to think AJ would be MIL grade as well.
Thanks,
Adam
Hi Adam,
I understand your confusion.
LM139AJ/883 is the military grade version of the National part.
LM139AJB is the military grade version of the TI part.
So no they are different parts, the dies are different with two different processes. However, when operated within the datasheet specs, they should be interchangeable.
LM139AJ is still commercial grade but just also has the extended -55 temp range.
