How below ICs are different in their functionality? what differences are there in their connections?
Hi Neha,
Below are the main differences of both parts.
There are 8 pins and 14 pins of both parts, but LM2917 is built with the internal zener to regulate the supply voltage, while LM2907 does not.
Here is an example of LM2917 schematic.
Please let me know your input signal and output signal in DC and PWM levels, and I will simulate the conditions for you (65Hz < f < 110Hz).
BTW, I am unable to support LTSpice simulation, even though it is the same circuit. You just have to transfer these parameters to LTSpice and it should work.
Best,
Raymond
Thank you Raymond but I need difference between 8PIn version of LM2907 and 14 Pin Version of same LM2907 IC.Not LM2917. Are these two same07 and 17?
Our Working voltage will be 12V. Frequency range is 65Hz to 110Hz.
Hi Neha,
Thank you Raymond but I need difference between 8PIn version of LM2907 and 14 Pin Version of same LM2907 IC
The difference is explained in this appnote:

Hi Neha,
difference between 8PIn version of LM2907 and 14 Pin Version of same LM2907 IC.Not LM2917
The differences are shown in the captured image below. If you want to read about these differences, please see AN-162 application note mentioned by Kai.
There are minor differences between 8pins and 14pins of LM2907 part.
Our Working voltage will be 12V. Frequency range is 65Hz to 110Hz.
please tell me what is Vout voltage range for F-to-V converter between 65Hz to 110Hz, and I need to know what is the input frequency amplitude and DC biasing on the input. I will simulate the LM2907 14pin package for you.
Best,
Raymond
