INA237-Q1: Input pin differential impedance

Hi Team,

I just want to confirm if the sensing input (In+ In-) traces need to follow differential impedance? I checked the layout guideline on the datasheet as well as the EVM layout and it seems not needed but I need your confirmation just to be sure

They do not need to be differentially routed but if possible it would be best to do so.

Hi Marvin,

in any case, any imbalance between the inputs, for instance caused by uneven stray capacitances or uneven common mode input filtering have the potential to fully ruin the outstanding common mode rejection of INA237. See the discussion in this neighbour thread:
