OPA548: is there a timing requirement for both power up and power down for both positive and negative electricity

Part Number: OPA548

Hi  team,

is there a timing requirement for both power up and power down for both positive and negative electricity? thanks

  • Hi Hazel,

is there a timing requirement for both power up and power down for both positive and negative electricity?

Are there any specific power up and power down scenarios you are asking? I am not aware of any power up or down timing issues in this part. Generally, power up and power down sequencing are synchronized somewhat. I do not know what the questions are referring to? Please let me know.

  • Hi Raymond,

Now we use dual supplies, such as ±12V,but there is a sequential relationship between the positive and negative power sources being powered on and off,so Will this sequential relationship cause abnormal operation of the amplifier?

  • Hi user3784482,

The normal power up or power down sequences should not result any abnormal operation of the amplifier. At least I am not aware of any. Could you describe the possible abnormal operation after the power ramp up or power ramp down events? Please let me know.

    Best,

    Raymond
