TL082: question

Part Number: TL082

Hi team,

My customer would like to use TL082 in a differential proportional circuit. Is there a risk of loop instability if the amplification gain is less than 1, such as input is 10V, output is 1V?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ivy

  • Hello Ivy,

It is not the signal gain that matters. It is the amplifier's noise gain which is the closed loop gain as viewed from the IN+ pin (when feedback is passed to IN-) .

Stability becomes a concern when extra gain or delay is added to the loop.
