AMC1311: For differential input using AMC1311.

As title, I looking for isolated amplifier product that can perform differential input and differential output function.

A product that matches Output type(differential), range(2 Vpk-pk) and gain(1) is AMC1311, but it is single-ended input type.

So, I ask if it is possible to operate by implementing differential input(2 Vpk-pk, actually -1~1 V) without connecting the input to GND in the product.

Apart from the above, It would be convenient to have the filter below.(This is a suggestion based on my personal opinion.)

  At 'Isolated amplifiers' - gain, bandwitdth, input type, output type.

  At 'Precision ADCs' - PGA (Y/N, Min,/Max.), variable gain(Y/N, except PGA), variable offset(Y/N), selectable input range list

  At 'Precision DACs (≤10 MSPS)' - output type(single-ended/differential), variable gain(Y/N), variable offset(Y/N), selectable output range list

    Thank you for your question and input. 

    The AMC3330 has an input voltage range as you have described and differential output. This device also has an internal DC/DC converter, simplifying the design by removing the need for a discrete high side supply. 

    AMC1350 is another option, with a +/-5V input voltage range.

    I've reviewed these products. But gain is not 1.

    The fact that the gain is not 1 requires an additional amplifier circuit compared to the non-isolated type. In other words, the reason why I avoided it was that the circuit was different and the PCB had to be managed separately.

    I'll review overall.

  • I tentatively decide on AMC1350 and look forward to the development of new products for differential input/output + gain 1 V/V + 2 Vpk-pk.
