I would like to understand the functionality of the VCAP pin in the ISO224 device.
Based on the datasheet, I understand that this pin is related to an internal LDO (Low Dropout Regulator) within the device, providing a 4V output.
However, I'm unsure of the purpose of this integrated LDO. Is it used for the internal power supply of the device or it has any other purpose?
Additionally, I'm planning to generate VDD1 using a Tracopower DCDC converter, and I'm concerned about how the noise on VDD1 may affect the output noise of the ISO224.
Would it be advisable to insert an LDO between the Tracopower DCDC converter and VDD1 in the ISO224?, is the output noise completely decoupled from VDD1?
