INA237: EMC1702 Replacement

Hi Team,

I would like to INA237 to replace EMC1702 on the customer board. However, EMC1702 has the #THERM pin, looks like INA237 didn't support this feature.

May I know is there any recommend solution? Thank you. The DS link is below.

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, we don’t have a product that is an exact match.

Some of our products have an equivalent THERM pin (typically called CRITICAL), but they lack the temperature functionality. Some, such as INA237, has the temperature functionality, but has only one level of ALERT. If you’re open to the idea of pairing a current sense amplifier with a temperature sensor, we may have some options.

INA209 plus TMP512 is close in terms of functionality.
