LM139-MIL: What's the difference between the LM139J and LM139JB?

Part Number: LM139-MIL

I'm searching for the meaning of the "B" on the LM139JB.
If not, is it equivalent to the LM139J?
Thanks for your help.

  • As far as the datasheet specifications are concerned, they are the same.

The LM139JB has additional military qualifications. The LM139J is for industrial customers that just want the military temperature range or package.

  • Hello Nouet,

    As Clemens says...

    The "B" means Mil-spec MIL-883 rev "B".

The "just J" is the commercial version, and the "JB" is the MIL-883B version, which the "B" undergoes additional processing and tracking.

    Electrically they are the same.
