XTR105: Verify the cause of crack at the pin root of the device

Part Number: XTR105

Jul 172023 ordered XTR105PA 100 tablets from Mouser, order number: 29530005 inspection found that most of the foot root has a crack (see figure) . Is this situation caused by the production process or the device itself

    Hello,

    Discussed with our Packaging Engineer. The mark on the plated metal is a normal artifact from the lead-forming tool on the PDIP package.  The mark is a normal/expected signature on the plated metal being bent on the lead forming tool on the PDIP package.
