LMH6881: Noise density with gain condition

Part Number: LMH6881

Hello team,

LMH6881 datasheet provides output noise density and input referred noise density information with maximum gain(26dB) condition only.

How can we know or calculate noise density(output or input referred) with different gain condition?

Best regards,

  • Hi,

The output voltage noise density can be found by multiplying the input referred noise density with the desired gain condition. The input referred noise density does not vary with gain. You can also run a noise analysis in TINA for the LMH6881 to see the output and input voltage noise at maximum gain condition.

    Thanks,

    Nick
