THS3001: Difference between THS3001HVIDGNR and THS3001IDGNR

Could you please tell us what is  difference between THS3001HVIDGNR and THS3001IDGNR?

Also, Could you please tell us the latest version device of THS3001HVIDGNR?

    Hi Seijiro,

    THS3001HV can support a higher supply voltage than the THS3001, as shown below on the datasheet.

    THS3491 is the recommended replacement for the THS3001HV. The THS3491 has a smaller voltage range compared to the THS3001HV however. Does the application require the full supply voltage range of the THS3001HV?

    Thank you for your explain.

    our customer is using output range is +/-15V. so, THS3001/THS3491 could not meet it.

    Do you have other devie to meet output range is +/-15V?

    Hi Seijiro,

    Can you provide a few more details about the customer application to determine the best device to use? 

    • Are there any power supply voltage constraints?
    • What is the expected load on the output?
    • What is the magnitude and frequency of the input signal? (or if you can provide what gain is needed to have the +/-15V output swing and what the bandwidth needs to be)

    A few possible devices to look at are the LM7171 and LMP8671. Depending on your bandwidth need and the output load, these devices might fit the application need.

    Hi Nick,

    The following is customer requirements.

    ・Are there any power supply voltage constraints?

    　--> Supply voltage : +/-18V (current application)

     

    ・What is the expected load on the output?

      --> 10mA enough

     

    ・What is the magnitude and frequency of the input signal?

    (or if you can provide what gain is needed to have the +/-15V output swing and what the bandwidth needs to be)

      --> input signal : from +/-1.5V to +/-2.0V

      --> fast settling time required : from 10ns to 20ns (output swing 15V)

    Thank you for providing additional customer requirements. Based on the information, I believe that the wide supply voltage range, high slew rate, and high bandwidth make the LM7171 the best option. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
