INA290: voltage output abnormality

Part Number: INA290
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA296A, , INA296B, INA293

Hi, i am using INA290A3. Like typical circuit the following.

My circuit;

When Vin reaches about 0.7Vdc Vout goes 1Vdc.
This situation does not occur below 0.7Vdc and above 0.9Vdc.
I would like to know your comment about this situation.

Vin;

Vout;

  • Hello Cenk,

    There are a couple of issue here.  The first major issue is the INA290 is only able to function with high VCM.  Meaning the Vin must be greater than VCM = 2.7V.  It may start working below this voltage but I would not recommend using it below this voltage.  If you would like similar specifications with low VCM range please take a look at the INA293, INA296A, INA296B.  Also please verify your schematic and actual circuit are the same as I assume the schematic has the IN+ and IN- pins reversed.

    Regards,

    Javier

  • Hi Javier, thank you very much, i will try INA293.

    You're right, I did the drawing quickly and it's wrong.

    Best Regards

    Cenk
