INA296B-Q1: RVRR (Reference voltage rejection ratio) specification

Part Number: INA296B-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA296B

TI Team,

Cusotmer calculates worst case error for INA296B-Q1 output.

In the datasheet a RVRR (Reference voltage rejection ratio, input referred) parameter is specified for the case when Vref1 = Vref2 = Vs / 2. In customer application Vref1 = GND, Vref2 = Vs(5V).

How should we evaluate the RVRR error in this case?

  • Hello Piotr,

When using the internal resistor divider please use the Reference divider accuracy for you gain options.  For your device INA296B please use the 0.15% resistor divider error.  This is the error for the reference and this should not change during operation.  So the RVRR does not apply.

    Regards,

    Javier
