THS2630: THS2630

Part Number: THS2630
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4130

To power down the THS4130 for LVDT BITE I 1st condition the secondary inputs as follows:

Then use the following circuit to drive the PD pin to -12V:

What do you think?

  • Hi David,

I was able to recreate the transistor setup using generic transistors for the PD pin and was able to get the expected functionality of the setup. I am not too sure how the output of the device that's connected to the base behaves as I just biased the transistor base with a dc source. Are you able to confirm the output of that chip will turn the pnp transistor on as I assumed with a simple dc bias? I also assume the THS4130 will be powered such that -12V at the PD will be enough to shut the device off.

    Best Regards,

    Ignacio

  • Ignacio,

Thanks for the reply. I used LTspice and it looked good.
