LM339B: Possible to connect 2 Out ports together (use as OR function)?

Hi,

I need an OR function on 2 of my outpust from LM339BIPWR. Can I connect them together on the output to get an OR function without any diodes connected to the outputs?

Hello Kenneth,

Yes. The outputs are "open collector", and can only sink current (short to ground). So they may be tied together.

You only need one pull-up resistor for all the outputs....
