For ADSL2+ application, customer used the OPA835,but in order to get better THD, higher P/S range, they intend to move to OPS890.
Is this is the right/best recomended solution?

Eli,
You are correct. The OPA890 can run at +/-6.5V or about ~13V max supply whereas the OPA835 is limited to 5.5V max. This is a result of using the CBC10 process versus BiCom 3x.
For THD, the OPA890 is not Rail-to-Rail Output which means it will inherently have improved distortion over RRO devices. The OPA890 also has a higher Iq than the OPA835 (1.1mA versus 250uA) which will result in better all around performance.
Overall, the OPA890 is a good option for improved THD and higher supply range.
