LM2901V: Any issue with part if voltage of ~1.1V is available at input pin ( current limited to ~1.5mA due to 10K series resistance) without availability of power at VCC pin during power up

Part Number: LM2901V
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM339

Hi All,

Need your help to confirm if it is ok to apply ~1.1V (12 V is sensed via 10K, 11K resistor divider network) at one of its input pin before applying power at VCC pin of LM2901V. Datasheet (images below) seems to indicate that it is ok (Vi spec is independent of Vcc and as long as we ensure input current is < 50mA, it is ok to have voltage at Vi pins even if VCC is not available).

Thanks
