OPA690: DIS_N pin leaks electricity to the VS+ pin

Hi team,

My customer faced a leakage issue in the case of OPA690IDBVR:

Currently, my customer encountered a situation where the DIS_N pin leaks electricity to the VS+ pin.

Is this an official phenomenon of TI: OPA690IDBVR?

Test method, disconnect the input power of VS+ and VS_ of OPA690IDBVR, the DIS_N pin supplies 3.3V power, but the 2.4V level can be measured on VS+.

Hi Matt,

Can you confirm one thing: is there an input signal present to the OPA690? If so, can you provide more details about the input signal (i.e. amplitude, DC signal or AC signal/frequncy, waveform type)?

I will discuss this with the team to see if it is expected or known phenomenon in the meantime.

There is no input signal at all. Customer has just tested the leakage issue of OPA690.

Hi Matt,

I apologize for the delay in my response as I was offline yesterday.

It is suspected that you are seeing a voltage drop across the diode to the power supply. There will be no DC current flow through the diode in the way it is configured, however there will be some inherent capacitance that will charge up and hold the supply voltage pin to a potential.
