Good morning, regarding the INA296A I would like to ask if it was possible to carry out the single-ended and non-differential reading, having a reference voltage fixed through an external resistive divider?

Reading the datasheet I saw that it recommends a differential reading, but the use I would like to make of it is simply as an amplifier of a current signal read throgh a shunt resistor to be compared through a comparator with a threshold, in order to provide protection for my battery pack.

The INA296A measures the voltage between its two input pins. To measure a voltage relative to GND, connect IN− to GND.

I agree with Clemens. If you need a reference not equal to GND and you use a divider I do not recommend doing it with out a buffer as the input current does change with input voltage on the reference pin. That is why it is recommended to use a differential measurement if you do not use a buffer. Or use a buffer as seen in figure 8-8 in the datasheet.

Use any amplifier with the desired accuracy. Even a cheap one like the LM321LV is likely to have a smaller offset than the divider's resistor tolerances.
