Hi,

A few months ago I asked a question regarding the offset voltage of the LM7171 version A. I would like to test some of the new silicon versions of the LM7171A for a new design. Am I guaranteed to get the correct version of the amplifier on the new silicon when I order these parts (after May 2nd as mentioned in the linked thread)? Or is there any possibility to get some sample parts?

    Hi Lars,

    I was able to look into this and was informed that there is no guarantee of getting the new silicon. We have inventory that includes both old and new silicon, which would mean there is a chance you will get the old silicon until it is finally depleted. As far as sampling, unfortunately the sampling fulfillment process for our devices come from the same inventory so there is also no guarantee new silicon would be sent.
