PGA855: PGA|855

Part Number: PGA855

Tool/software:

Dear Engineers,
I want to use the PGA 855 in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 attenuation mode. Its output is a 24-bit adc. There should be a filter on display that will have 30db at 6kHz. How do I do this? To begin with, a simulation file for calculating the total noise in uvrms at an operating temperature of 70 degrees would be sufficient. Can you send me the sim file for TINA and possibly make a suggestion for the filter.
Thanks in advance

Mixx

  • HI Milan,

    1) Please clarify the filter requirements. Do you mean you want a low-pass filter with 30dB attenuation at 6kHz, or what do you meant by "filter on display that will have 30dB at 6kHz?  What is the signal pass band or frequency range of interest? Is this circuit intended to measure low frequency DC signals, or AC signals?

    2) What is the sensor or source signal you are attempting to measure?  what is the input common-mode voltage? and what is the differential voltage range? What frequency range are you attempting to measure.

    3)  What 24-bit ADC device are your driving? ADC full-scale range?

If possible, please provide a schematic or diagram and kindly define the input and output supplies you will be using for the PGA855; (and ADC).

    Thank you and Best Regards,

    Luis
