Hi Team

Customer wanna design a window comparation circuit to sense the power voltage. it is VCC and -VCC, +15V and -15V. the threshold point is +12V and -12V.

is the TLV072 can be used as this design? if TLV1702 can works normal if the differential voltage between VCC and GND keeps within 30V?

The TLV1702 would support up to 36 V. But its output pulls down to V−, so this will not work if your logic ground is at 0 V; for this situation, you would need a comparator with two grouns like the TLV1872.

Hello Harry,

I second Clemens recommendation of the TLV1872. It can take the entire input range and can output a ground-referenced logic level.

If you use any other comparator, such as the TLV1702 or TLV1822 family, you will need to level-shift the output as the output will go "low" to -15V.

The TLV1872 has two channels.
