Good morning.

What happens when we connect one end of 1 Ohm resistor to pin no 1 of INA196AIDBVT and the other end of the resistor to the 10000pF capacitor. The capacitor will connect back to the GND.
what is the impact of Capacitor and resistor?
This output will go to an ADC (ATmega32U).

The input to the INA196AIDBVT is 0 to 20mA current.

Hi,

The INA196 is effectively driving 10nF with this configuration. I would reduce the cap to 1nF or smaller, or increase the resistor to 100Ohm for margin of stability.

I notice you’re trying to measure a relatively small current, please refer to datasheet section 7.4.2 for different scenarios where accuracy may encounter certain limitations.

We do offer other high voltage current sense amplifiers, such as INA280, INA290, INA293, INA240 and INA241, in case accuracy is critical.
