Tool/software:

     

       For our HW design, we’d like to use INA253A3-Q1 for current sensing feedback on dither valve control. And for this current sensing circuit block, ASIL C is needed.   

       After FMEDA calculation based on HW, it is not possible to reach ASIL C. 

       Could you pls propose some SW mechanisms to reach the level ?

    Hi,

    Potentially an area of SW improvement can be increasing diagnostic coverage,  providing redundant monitoring, and implementing mitigation solutions. For example, this could include periodic monitoring of Vout versus input and/or references, supply current etc.
