OPA2206: Mux friendly?

Part Number: OPA2206
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA192

Tool/software:

I don't see anything in the DS referring to a limit on the differential voltage between the + and - inputs, but this DS doesn't say that it is mux friendly. Is this part OK in applications where there might be a larger differential voltage between the inputs, like in mux applications?

Thanks,

Mark

  • Hi Mark,

OPA2206 can be used as the mux friendly op amp for mux application.

Similar to OPA192, OPA2206 also has fast settling time, low input bias current, low offset voltage and handle transient input voltage, low noise characteristics or features. Although it has different input topology, which is different from OPA192 "standard" mux friendly op amp, it has similar mux friendly features. It also has excellent CMRR and PSRR for the mux application (interesting that +PSRR is different from -PSRR).

If you have other questions, please let me know.

    Best,

    Raymond
