Hi team,

I see the gain error of INA186-Q1 is 1%, however I did not see total error.

Customer compared INA186-Q1 with INA194-Q1, they saw INA194-Q1 has 3% total error.

They want to know the total error of INA186-Q1.

If you cannot provide this value, please tell me how to calculate the total error. Or tell me what parameter show be considered into the total error. Thanks.

Hey Peter,

Total error must be calculated for every possible current level. Worst case is at minimum current. Total error is the root sums square (RSS) of all offset error (initial, CMR, PSR, temperature drift) and gain error (device gain error, shunt tolerance, and shunt drift).
