    Hi Roy,

    Can you tell me what you are trying to do? ALM2403-Q1 is able to sink 100mA current without damage, this is equivalent to day that its Vout terminal is shorted to 10V power source (with current limit of 100mA). 

    I do not see the issue other than ALM2403-Q1 will heat up and dissipate at approx. 0.5 W range.
