LM2901: Supply current range

Dear Support Team.

Page 13 of the data sheet RevX shows the supply current for LM2901's 4 channels.
At Ta=25° and VCC=5V, it is Typ: 0.8mA, Max: 2.0mA.
At Ta=25° and VCC=30V, it is Typ: 1.0mA, Max: 2.5mA.

so it has a 2.5 times range. In our actual measurements, at Ta=26° and VCC=24V,it was 0.95mA.
Is the actual measured supply current valid?
What is the maximum value?

Also, the supply current range of the LM2901B is narrower.
What is the difference?

0.95mA looks real. For MAX it would be a little less than 2.5mA, see figure 7-33 to get an interpolation factor.

Yes, LM2901B is narrower due to modern process, design and control. If IQ matters, use LM2901B

In our actual measurements, Ta=26° and VCC=24V, it was 0.95mA. But does it mean that there is also a IQ of up to 2mA?
If they are from the same lot, is the variation small?

Yuyama-san,

Unlikley for 2mA sample, but keep in mind that temperature changes IQ. Even in same lot, there could be significant variance. It would be much sooner resolution if I knew how the LM2901 was being used and why IQ is important.
