Hello,

I have parts that appear to be non-functional based on measurements taken with a multimeter set to diode mode.

Please see the image below comparing the measurements of a working part vs a non-working part. The part is not assembled, and I’m unsure why it is showing improper measurements, even though the part marking is the same.

For reference, the measurement between pin 6 and pin 7 is about +0.871V in the working part, while it shows an open circuit in the non-functional part.

Please advise!

PCNs 20220615003.1 and 20230627002.1 introduced an entirely new die. The guaranteed datasheet limits have not changed, but the datasheet does not say anything about the presence or absence of a diode between the output and V+.

Apparently, your circuit relies on characteristics that go beyond the datasheet limits. Please show the schematic, and specify the range of voltages at the input/output pins.

U19 is the circuit.

How does the circuitry affect the performance when the component is not installed on the PCB?

Why do two components with the same part marking measure differently? Please explain.

The new die can have different characteristics when you go outside the datasheet limits.

The schematic is incomplete. Where do the signals at the inverting inputs come from, and what is the load of the PNP darlingtons? What is the voltage at the top of R99? Please specify the range of voltages at the input/output pins.

Yes. there is performance issues resulting the failure in test.

I don't see the op amp in an application circuit in the image. Is there a performance issue that violates the datasheet condition with the device?
