I have downloaded the TI - PSpice BUF802 PSpice model from your web site:

I am trying to simulate your reference AC-DC buffer design.

First transient simulation at 2MHz & tstop=1us is OK, In the plot window, I can see the "OUT" 1Vpk sinewave.

For the second simulation, I change the source frequency from 2MHz to 20MHz and the stop time from 1us to 100ns (100e-9), see attached images.

After launching the simulation, the plot window doesn't display any result. I stop the simulation eventually and see that the simulation time is 1.610ms, much larger than the stop time of 100ns I have been giving. But still no plot results.

I have been using a lot of simulators but TI Pspice only since yesterday. Am I doing something wrong ?

Actually, I am trying to translate the buf802 Pspice model into an ADS netlist. The translation fails because of ISwitch PSpice instances.

I would like to modify the PSpice netlist to get rid of the ISwitch, using VSwitch instead. I would like to make sure the new PSpice simulated netlist still gives coherent results.

    Hi Nicolas,

    I was able to simulate the circuit with a 20MHz input signal as well and it seemed to work just fine. If we try increasing the time to say 1us like it was previously setup does this simulate correctly? As far as converting the model files, this is something we cannot help with unfortunately. Our models were created to work on the TINA-TI and PSpice for TI platforms and cannot guarantee they could be correctly implemented in other simulation software.
