Hi,

I am designing a system to detect pulsed LASER light with a wavelength peaked at 1500 nm and a power level of 200 nW. I have attempted to design a transimpedance amplifier using various op-amps like LMH6629, but they fail to produce an output due to the very low power of the input signal.

Could anyone suggest a suitable IC, evaluation board, or module to effectively detect this signal?

can you please look @ LMH32401 , OPA859 or OPA858.

Can you please help us understand what are you using on the Tx side for driving pulses into a laser. We may have some interesting solution there as well.

Thanks for your reply. The LASER is operated using a driver. My I am working on receiver side. I will also check the above.

Can you please also let us know what's the transimpedance gain and bandwidth you are trying to achieve with the transimpedance amplifier?
