ISO224: ISO224BDWVR

Part Number: ISO224

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are using  ISO224BDWVR in our design.

Recently we have done EMI/EMC testing for our unit.

We have observed Noise levels in RE102 test at 10MHz, 18MHz to 23MHz.

We are using this IC for our UNIT input voltage monitoring and Load voltage monitoring.

Please let us know have done EMI/EMC testing for the design having this ISO224BDWVR IC.

If you Done any testing please let us know what are the precautions need to be taken to qualify the test.

Also Find the attached graph of Input-Referred Noise Density vs Frequency

Please confirm is there any effect of noise will be happen in this test?

Also we need to know the Noise density effect up to 30GHz.

Regards,

Babu.M

  • Hi Babu,

The noise density plot you have shared is in regards to noise performance of the measurement, not the radiated emissions.

Please see this document and figure 3 for a CISPR11 measurement of the ISO224 on the base EVM.

Of course the PCB design will affect the radiated emissions greatly, which may contribute to the difference in performance we are seeing.

I'm not familiar with the RE102 standard nor any test that requires measurements up to 30GHz, can you share additional details?
