AMC1200-Q1: Replacement for AMC1200-Q1

Part Number: AMC1200-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1200, AMC1351, AMC3330, ISO224

Tool/software:

Hello All,

I'm looking for a drop in replacement for the AMC1200-Q1 IC. Currently, this IC is being used to isolate two ground planes, it also receives and outputs differential signals. The main issue with our design is that we have to step down the source signal (+-5V) by a large (inverse) gain due to the AMC1200 input being +-250mV. As a result this node has high sensitivity. Just a couple of mV changes at the input of the AMC can have a large effect on the output stage of our design. So, we are now looking for a replacement (of the AMC1200) that has higher input voltage range, may be 1V peak to peak or higher. Our design is for DC application only.

Thanks.

  • Hi,

Which package of AMC1200-Q1 are you using? DUB or DWV?

Unfortunately we do not have options for DUB with higher input voltage range.

We do however have AMC1351 with 0-5V input voltage range.

For other products, we have AMC3330 with integrated DC/DC converter and +/-1Vin, or ISO224 with +/-12Vin, but these are not drop in replacements.

  • We are using the DWV version.

We do however have AMC1351 with 0-5V input voltage range.

For other products, we have AMC3330 with integrated DC/DC converter and +/-1Vin, or ISO224 with +/-12Vin, but these are not drop in replacements.

    I see, thanks.
