Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI
Tool/software:
Hi,
Is there already a TINA-TI spice model for the INA790B?
Or can I use another spice model that fits to internal amplifier of the INA790B and add the shunt resistor externally?
Thanks, Ludwin

Hi Ludwin,
We don't have the TINA model yet. In the meantime, please use the INA241 models, paired with a 0.4mOhm shunt resistor. An ideal output buffer can be included if you need to configure it to gain >1.

Thank you for the quick reply,
my intention was to simulate the behaviour of the output (stability, overshoot, settling time) as a function of the capacitive load and compensation (R_iso, CF). Of course, this is not meaningful with an ideal buffer.
So I have to wait for the definitive INA790B simulation model. Do you have an indication when this will be available?
Thanks, Ludwin
Ludwin,
Thanks for the question and using the E2E forum.
Due to the U.S. holiday on July 4, we are currently out of the office. Someone will reply when we return on Monday, July 7.
Thank you for your patience.
Hi Ludwin,
I understand. As far as time line is concerned, I don’t have a specific date, but it is probably some time out as the backlog is being worked on. Once released, it will be downloadable at https://www.ti.com/product/INA790B.
