LF353: Counterfeit LF353DR parts

Part Number: LF353


We have received what we are sure are counterfeit LF353DR parts.  Does TI want samples of these and other information?

    Chuck,

    Thanks for letting us know.  Sorry you received the counterfeit parts.  Here is the counterfeit policy: anti-counterfeit .  The key point of the policy is that we expect you will not receive counterfeit devices if you use an authorized vendor.  If you did use an authorized vendor than we definitely would like all the details including samples.  If you did not use an authorized vendor, I don't think we can do much.  Best practice is to use the authorized vendors.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.  Our CM says the parts came from DigiKey.  I've asked them to provide a DigiKey invoice.  Our technician is retaining good samples removed from boards.

    Chuck,

    Digikey is an authorized vendor.  Can you please send me E2E friend request so that we can send info privately (e.g. email, shipping info etc.).  We will want to confirm that they are counterfeit, and how they ended up at digikey.
