TAS2505-Q1: Differences between TAS2505-Q1 and TAS2505A-Q1

Part Number: TAS2505-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2505A-Q1,

Hi TI comunity,

We are using TAS2505-Q1 on our products and searching on TI website we noticed that there is a new version TAS2505A-Q1. On the datasheet we didn't find no diferences. On the the compare alternative tool of the TI website it was the same (see picture below). Could you please share with us what are the differnces between the components?

  • Hello Alexandru,

These part numbers are the same device and are also pin to pin compatible.
'A' version was just added for process changes requirement coming from a different factory, but there's no actual changes to the device.

You might consider TAS6511 or TAS6501 if you want a newer low power part that is digital input.

    best regards,
    Luis
