  • Hello,

Can you confirm what you mean by "IMDS"? What type of data does this entail? I am not familiar with that acronym.

    Best,
    Carrie

  • Thank you for your message.

IMDS stands for International Material Data System. It is a global data repository used by the automotive industry to collect, maintain, analyze, and archive information on materials used in vehicles. The IMDS report includes detailed information on the composition of components and materials, such as substance names, CAS numbers, and percentages, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., ELV, REACH, and RoHS).

Please let me know if you need more details or an example of an IMDS report.

  • Hello,

All TI automotive devices are registered with IMDS as part of PPAP completion upon release to market. So, you should be able to find IMDS registration for both of these devices already completed. If you'd like to request PPAP documentation, that can be done here.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Best,
    Carrie
