Dear TI Support,

Could you please confirm if TLC272BIDR and TLV9102IDR are pin-to-pin compatible in the SOIC-8 package?
Also, are there any key electrical or functional differences that would prevent direct replacement?

If available, please share any migration or replacement guidance between these two parts.

    Hello,

    The TLV9102IDR is pin-to-pin compatible to the TLC272BIDR. The electrical specifications are similar to each other, and in many cases, the TLV9102 has improved performance, such as in short circuit current and IQ.

    If there is a particular use case you are worried about, you can send your circuit to me directly, and I can look at it to ensure there will be no issues if you decide to replace the TLC272 with the TLV9102. In particular, if there is a capacitive load, or you believe stability could be an issue, I can take a look at the circuit.
