OPA699: Are there any plans for a successor to the OPA699?

Part Number: OPA699

Dear Specialists,

My customer is using OPA699 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise?

---

OPA699 is a unique high-speed operational amplifier with a voltage limiting function.

It was released in 2002, so I'd like to know if there are any plans for a new product.

Could you please let me know if are there any plans for a successor to the OPA699?

---

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Hi Specialists,

This is a reminder I am looking forward to waiting your reply.

    I appreciate your great help.

    Best regards,

  • Hello Shinichi,

I apologize for missing your thread earlier.

We have a few high-speed amplifiers that have integrated output clamps; however, they are not an exact successor to the OPA699. And, we do not currently have plans for one at the moment.

      Here are the devices:

    1. LMH6553: High speed Fully Differential Amplifier ADC Driver with Integrated Voltage Limiting Output Clamps
    2. BUF802: High Speed Buffer with Integrated Clamps

Or you could add this function discretely to any amplifier/device via Schottky diodes to the rails of the next stage.

    Thank you,
    Sima

  • Hi Sima,

Thank you for your reply and sorry for late response. I was in holidays.

I'll share the information you send with the customer.

If you have a HS Amp with clamp in the road map, could you please share with private message.

I'm a member of distributor and have NDA.

In this case, could you please accept friendship request and  provide the information.

I appreciate your great help and cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Shinichi
