When using the TAS2505-Q1, we observed during load short-circuit testing that a shorted load sometimes does not trigger the short-circuit protection.

The customer would like to know: What is the short-circuit impedance threshold?

Around 1.1A.

Short load test, need to output large enough signal. Idle or very low volume condition won't trigger..

Thanks for your support.

So, my understanding is that it doesn't actually measure impedance; instead, it directly detects current to trigger an overcurrent condition.

By detecting the current, it determines whether a load short circuit has occurred externally—is my understanding correct?
