LM4898: Reg: LM4898MM (VSSOP-10) used to amplify single ended audio signal

Hi TI Team,

I have 16/32 ohm single-ended headphone output (up to 20mW) from Soc.

I need to drive an 8ohm/1Watt speaker, so that i have used LM4898MM(VSSOP-10) IC as a power amplifier.

In datasheet, application circuit is given for differential audio input circuit (Figure 4.), but i want to use this IC for Single ended audio signal. can you provide me the reference circuit design for single ended audio signal.

Hi Mayur,

I would recommend adding AC coupling capacitors on both IN- and IN+, before the input resistors Ri1 and Ri2, then connect the unused input capacitor to GND.
This diagram is from another fully-differential Class-AB amplifier, you can get an overall idea of the implementation.
