Part Number: OPA855
Hello,
I’m having trouble using the OPA855 PSpice model downloaded from the Texas Instruments website.
Even with very basic test circuits (for example a simple non-inverting amplifier), the simulation results don’t make sense. In some cases, I get an output voltage of ~8 V, while the amplifier is powered from a single +5 V supply (VCC = 5 V, VEE = 0 V).
I’ve checked that:
-
the subcircuit is instantiated correctly (
OPA855 IN+ IN- OUT VCC VEE), -
the supply voltages follow the datasheet,
-
the inputs are kept within a reasonable range.
Still, the output clearly exceeds the supply rails.
Is there a recommended or validated PSpice test schematic for the OPA855, or any special considerations when using this model in PSpice?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Romain.
