LMH6629 Vs TLV2471

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV2471, LMH6629
Hi,
I need to choose a LNA opamp for my design.
My design is for Measurement application where is noise is not an option.
I have chosen LMH6629 as my LNA opamp by looking at the spec as below.

OPAMP GBW SLEW RATE Max. Input offset voltage Input Voltage noise Supply voltage
LMH6629	900 1100 0.8 0.69 2.7-5.5
TLV2471 2.8 1.4 2.2 15 2.7 – 6

From the comparison b/w LMH6629 and TLV2471, LMH is a good option.
I would like to confirm this from TI.
Please do the needful.

Karthik

  • Karthik,

Clearly these are very different operational amplifier products. If the application require the levels of performance provided by the LMH6629, then it is the clear choice. If the performance requirements are much reduced then the TLV2471 may be a viable option. You mention that the noise performance is critical. That may be the deciding factor.
