Hi 

I am planning to use THS7360 to give a analog loop-through out for an analog input which can be either CVBS(SD) or in YPbPr format(SD/ED/HD). So I have used both CVBS input and selectable SF input of THS7360 and then shorted them at input and output. Depending on my input I will enable either SD or SF at one time.

Can anyone tell me whether this is the right way to do it?

    Ayusman,

    The way you describe this, there should be no issues. Your system will obviously need to figure out which signal output to enable/disable, but from the THS7360 standpoint, what you describe will work fine.
