Windows 7 Driver for SPIO-4 Board with LMP91000

Hello,

My Windows 7 machine cannot find drivers for the SPIO-4 module and thus the LMP91000 GUI cannot find the board. Is there a place I can download the driver software or is there some work around?

On a second note, I was initially using the LMP91000 EVM in stand alone mode so I removed R7 and R8 to use my microcontroller's ADC, but now I obviously want to use the data capture board. Will this still work?

Hi Will,

I'm afraid but the SPIO4 doesn't work wiht Windows 7.

Regarding the second note, if you solder again R7 and R8 the EVM can be used with the SPIO4.

Which are the system requirements to work with SPIO4, LMP90100EVA and LMP90100 software? (32 bit, 64 bit , windows????

Hi Sergio,

the software has been designed to work with Windows XP, 32 bit.

I ran into that exact problem. I am running windows 10 64-bit.

You have to go into advanced startup options in windows, and click advanced restart.
Once in the advanced startup menu, go to advanced options.
Enable unsigned drivers.
Now start up windows, go to device manager.
Select the spio-4/nopb from the list, and update the driver from the program files.

After doing that, it worked fine for me.
